2. Top tricks of getting a job within a week. ( Composed by Siba Ram Baral)

This piece of communication is extremely nutritive and helpful for people who are looking for job. The tricks and techniques written here are extracted from practical experiences of several people who have implemented this and have got job within few days and even few of the points are suggested by frequent interviewers of our core. So here goes the trick to get job soon. You can take a print out of the following and keep it as a wallpaper for your preparations.

1. First and foremost is just make a mind set as if you are going to appear matric exam after a week. Just get inside a room and study, study and study. nothing else.
2. Our knowledge required for an interview have three different phases. Basic Conceptual knowledge ( Operating system, Software engineering, DBMS, Networking, SAD and ADA ), Core skill set ( C, C++, Java series, Testing, Mainframe, SAP, Oracle etc. ) and our interpersonal skills ( oral, mailing and written communication skill, personality development etc. )
3. We must sit and study at least 12 hours per day, with 3 hour sittings having one hour gap in between. Remember, never postpone till tomorrow. Every day is the best day for a good work. Get up early in the morning. The sitting slots can be like 6am - am , 10 am - 1 pm, 2 pm - 5 pm, 6 pm - 9 pm. Have lunch sharp at 1 pm and dinner at 10 and sleep early to get up by 5 am next day morning.
4. One more important thing is during these days plenty of water during these time and try to eat as much fruits as possible. Water flushes out all toxins from our body and clears our blood and makes the brain more clean and concentrating. Fruits provides all energy and no toxins. Hence our body gets perfectly tuned to absorb more of the learnings. Please stay away from spicy and non-veg foods. Nothing funny but applying a good cooling oil like "Navaratna" adds value to our studies. Brain remains cool and absorbs stuffs like a vacuum cleaner.
5. Spend the first 2 days to brush up all important topics and books of your last certification ( books like Software engineering, Operating system, DBMS, networking, SAD and ADA) this will refresh your conceptual knowledge and make your mind set for the core skill set to be absorbed.
6. Each topic can be concentrated for 4 hours. much more than enough. Just refresh your concepts during this time. If possible you can also take down one line notes.
7. At the end of whole one day of studying before sleeping, open your resume soft copy from your computer and write at least one line to your Resume. What ever concepts you studied and skills you learnt try to mention it in a good presentation way. If you do this for the whole one week of your crash course, at the end of the week you yourself will see the drastic change in your resume. Now your resume is absolutely yours and not the one which was copied or referred from some one else. This resume is a real curriculum vitae of your own skilled set and it's all true. Now you will see what miracle this can bring in your life.
8. Now for the next phase let's start with our Core skill set ( C, C++, Java series, Testing, Mainframe, SAP, Oracle etc.). Spend next 4 days on your core skill set with the same scheduling. Make two note books or keep two set of papers in front of you. One for noting down all key points in one one lines and keep another set of papers for noting down all the doubts.
9. My sincere requests to be outmost sincere. Stay away from all your friends, cricket, movie, gossips and chats. switch off your cell phone, cut off the calling bell and stay away from the outer world. Just eat, study and rest room. Maintain this and see the miracle in your career.
10. At the end of each phase of study you will be with a set of doubts and clarifications. Then tell your room mate or friends to just spend an hour with you to resolve all these. even the 1 hour gaps between sittings can also be utilized for the same.
11. If possible after getting up in the morning at some around 5 am take a clean bath, have some bread or water soaked sprouted grams. Perform a puja of any GOD of your choice or even can have a quick visit to the nearest temple. Then start your career adventure with a clean and cool mind.
12. Now the last and final phase of preparation. For oral communication even these week days can be used simultaneously along with the study during the gap hours. Look for a news in the English news paper and try to whisper the same in a way the news readers do. Do this for 5 minutes at a time for 10 times a day for all these 6 days and that's enough.
13. On the last day of our crash course can be spent on revisiting all the books, notes and materials again which will tune us with all the probable missed out points or forgotten points. Again write down an impressive text of just 5 lines briefing about you which will be used as your cover letter.
14. Now starts your field work. Spend 1 hour per day at an internet cafe early in the morning before 8 AM. The reason is if you send your resume to consultancies and HRs at their emailds early in the morning, then your mail will be at the top of their inbox. My dear friends believe me, the top few mails of our mailing list influences us more and the person gets interested to respond to it or consider it rather than reacting to it. You can get the email IDs of consultancies and HRs from Nilachakra site (
http://nilachakra.50webs.com ) email ID page from the top navigation menu. While sending resume make sure that you put all the email IDs in the BCC, write a good impressive subject line, attach your hard earned resume and put the cover letter text in to the body. Whisper your GOD's name and click send.
15. A small note of caution on your logistics. Your Email ID should be simple and small, shouldn't have underscore, indecent words, ASCII characters, should not be from a uncommon domain, shouldn't be having your nick name, famous numbers like 007, year of birth and all should n't be there. The email Id should be having your first name at least with a dot if verry necessary and some character which makes it unique ( depends on availability of ID ). Don't write subject lines like "Resume" or "Fresher" or "".
16. Subject line should be attractive, descent and complete. Example "Skilled with C, C++, OOPs, Oracle. Looking for a job. available at 9845760848 and
siba.baral@ge.com". probably some thing like this. The resume should be a pure word file with .doc extension. Not an inline text, ASCII text unless asked specifically, nor even a rich text format snap embedded file. Remember any symbols and characters apart from English alphabets are prone to be viruses after a period of time. hence may get filtered by the gateway firewall of SMTP servers of companies. You will think that you have sent your resume and will wait for a call, but your resume won't be reaching the destination.
17. Now register your resume to at least 5 job sites per day. We have a list of more than 1000 job sites at Nilachakra site (
http://nilachakra.50webs.com ). You can register your resume to both Indian and even western job sites. job sites can be found under Job page world wide Job sites frame. The job sites list are categorized under four headings ( Western world Job Sites, Consultants / Recruitment Agencies, Indian Job Sites, Job sites - City / State wise ).
18. Now send your resume to all your friends. If you have a good resume which has been sent to 30,000 consultancy IDs and 100 job sites at least will definitely fetch you around thousand call. Now any one can score at least 10 runs from 1000 balls. I mean 10 offer letters out of 1000 calls.
19. Come back home and be ready with your cell phone switched on and connected to charger. Sure by 9am onwards you will start getting calls at frequent. Just again whisper your favorite GOD's name and start on.

Hope the above set of information bring a change in your life. We are always there to help you. Good luck. Jai Jagannath.....

Siba Ram Baral

3. Poet "Jayadeva" an Oriya and not Bengali ( Information retrieved from
here , here)

After a long standing dispute over defining Birth Place of poet Jayadev and subsequent Forgeries, Interpolations and Fabrications Orissa Govt. made the point. At Last Bengal scholars agree that the famous Poet of 12th century "Jaydeva" belonged to Orissa. Even as controversy over the nativity of Jaydev still rages and many claim him to be from West Bengal, one scholar from that State has come out in the open asserting Orissa as the birthplace of the poet.

If we come across lines from poems and phrases written by Jayadeva, we can find the spelling of Lord Sri Krishna as "KRUSHNA" and not "Krishna". Only in Oriya literature we call the GOD as "KRUSHNA" and in all other literatures the GOD is called as Krishna. This proves the theorem that Poet Jayadeva is another gem of Utkala Janani and not from any where else.

Speaking at a seminar organised by Utkal University of Culture on 'Jaydev and Gitagovinda', Ashish Chakraborty, a noted Bengali researcher, said the language, culture, presentation of religious rituals, song and drama depicted in Gitagovinda have deep connection with ancient Orissa.

"I fail to understand, why some scholars come forward with fallacious arguments as he belonged to West Bengal," he said. Jaydev, the celebrated 12th century poet, was born in Kenduvilwa Sasan of ancient Utkal, presently Kenduli on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. Being inspired by Vishnu-Krishna or Madhava cult of Prachi-valley of that time he created his magnum opus Gitagovinda. The controversy arose in 1906 on the basis of an article of M M Chakrobarty of West Bengal in The Asiatic Society of Bengal Vol II where he mentioned that the great poet belonged to Bengal.

The seminar was inaugurated by Culture Minister Surya Narayan Patro in presence of I & PR Minister Debasis Nayak and Chief Secretary Ajit Kumar Tripathy. Tripathy, an expert on Jaydev and Gitagovinda, highlighted the multidimension of Gitagovinda - as a treasure trove of art, culture, sculpture, song, music and drama. Scholars from Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Assam and Orissa took part.
